One of the Pokemon everyone’s talking about at the moment is the Dusk Form Lycanroc. Nintendo and the Pokemon Company have officially confirmed Dusk Lycanroc as Pokemon Ultra Sun and PokemonUltra Moon's first new Pokemon, almosta week after Japanese media first made the reveal. The good news is that, first of all, there seems to be another Lycanroc form coming for dawn evolution, and second of all, this is only the beginning. Nintendo shares new information on the new Dusk Form for Lycanroc in Pokemon Ultra Sun and Moon, including that it's only available via limited distribution. They could have easily shown off a bit about the new legendary forms or some of the new gameplay though, right? Presumably, they revealed it because of where the anime has ended up in Japan–I won’t spoil it, but there’s a decent chance that Ash will encounter one of these puppies in the upcoming episode overseas. I get it we shouldn’t have super high expectations for new forms or whatnot it’s just a touch lame that the very first information of any kind that we get about Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon is this slightly altered coloration of an existing Pokemon. Today it’s followed up with a bunch more info and a trailer showcasing the new form. Midday Form and Midnight Form were available in Pokmon Sun & Moon, while Dusk Form was added in Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon. Earlier this year, Nintendo revealed that Lycanroc would get a new form in Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon to go along with its Midday and Midnight forms.This new 'Dusk Form' Lycanroc has aspects. The Pokmon Company revealed that a new Dusk Form Lycanroc would appear in the upcoming Pokmon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon last week. It also can turn into Splintered Stormshards when Lycanroc-D is holding a Lycanium Z. Stone Edge is Lycanroc-D's main STAB move, 2HKOing the likes of Milotic, Bewear, and Cresselia after a Swords Dance boost when boosted by a Life Orb. This is apparently called “Dusk form” and seems to occur when Rockruff evolves at sunset, though the official site says it isn’t obtainable by normal means. Lycanroc is a Rock type Pokmon introduced in Generation 7. Swords Dance allows Lycanroc-D to punch holes into defensive cores with Stone Edge or Splintered Stormshards. If they told me that was its shiny coloring, I wouldn’t know any better. So, that, uh, looks exactly like Lycanroc’s Midday form, but oranger and with green eyes. Sucker Punch is Lycanroc-Ds main form of priority, allowing it to OHKO Choice Scarf Flygon, Gardevoir, and Zygarde-10 after a boost. Additionally, Dusk Form Lycanroc has a different ability from its counterparts, Tough Claws.
